hollywood – the knitting factory (alterknit lounge)
yesturday….for some reason….we all had this feeling that no-one was going to come to our show and we wouldnt get paid and it would be awkward….
we were wrong!
people came and seemed to love it…
i had a blast
and other than some problematic drum machine…..our set went reallie well!
pangea (one of the bands that played) attacked me with face paint…i was verie happie about that….i havent worn face paint in years!
and we got paid!! yay for gas monie!!!
tonight we play at the che cafe in san diego…..

this show was amazing!!!!
so manie people came….and danced and made it soooo fun!!!!
rebecca played with her new band: girl band
they were sooo good! i loved them
i had so much fun while playing because everie-one was dancing sooo much!
and iji was awesome..until an overlie drunk boy started heckling him…which sucked!…because…well firstlie because heckling is a harsh thing to do in the middle of anyone’s performance….secondlie when zach tried to joke it off and play along….by sitting on him while playing…he then started making homophobic remarks…and none of us were remotelie ok with that…zach asked him to leave..,..and he didnt….but i was proud of zach for all of his actions!
so that was the onlie down side….everie-one else there was amazing! i loved them!
soon we’re going to go get food with rebecca and josh….and then head to hollywood in the afternoon to play at the knitting factory in the alterknit room…
santa maria – java moto
this was a coffee shop show weirder than the average one…
sometimes people dont dance and just sit…
here….whenever the bands would start playing….everie-one would go outside?!
i dont get it…
but we played for jack who danced hard in front of us….so hooray for him..
and then got some free coffees and cereal and strawberries….
and then we left because we all wanted to get to santa barbara as soon as we could…
and we stayed with rebecca from watercolor paintings (that was reallie hard for me to spell colour without a u!)
and we saw josh her brother too!
and we love these people!
santa cruz – the soundbox
yesturday…it was our beloved drummer logan’s birthday…his 21st in fact….
i hope we made it a good day for him!
at midnight in patterson….claude and frank arrived with a graduation happie 21st cake…we ate it and were happie….
when we woke up on logans official birthDAY…..we had to get up mega earlie to drop off zach at the airport in san jose because he’s had to leave us for a few days to go home…
we decided to go straight to santa cruz….and we went to the beach…had fish and chips on the wharf…and logan bought his first ever legal beer…just because you can!
we wandered around broadwalk….and went to a cafe for wifi purposes….and then headed to the uni for the show….
which was an awesome line up!
i particularlie liked james rabbit…and battlehooch! they were all mega nice people…and it was a great show!
today we head to santa maria….
